Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data safe? Do you store my contacts?

Absolutely. All conversion happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We never upload your VCF file to our servers, and we don't store any of your contact data. Your privacy is our top priority.

What file formats are supported?

Currently, we support VCF (vCard) files (.vcf extension). These are the standard format used by most phones and contact management systems. The output is CSV format, which is compatible with Excel, Google Sheets, and most CRM systems.

What if my contact has multiple phone numbers?

Our converter automatically handles multiple phone numbers per contact. Each number will be labeled based on its type (mobile, home, work, landline, fax) or numbered if no specific type is available. This creates separate rows in the CSV for each number.

Do I need to add country codes to phone numbers?

For best results when importing into calling tools, we recommend adding country codes before numbers that start with 0. Numbers should start with + followed by the country code (e.g., +1 for US, +44 for UK). This ensures proper formatting and dialing.

Is this tool free to use?

Yes, completely free! There are no hidden fees, no sign-ups required, and no limits on the number of contacts you can convert.
